Heavy. It makes me think of lifting, holding, pushing, pulling and all the while not getting very far. Although this may appear to be my version of Atlas, what I really had in mind was the weight of responsibility, the heavy load of the weight of the world on your shoulders. We can be glad to never have to experience such pressure, even if we were to become the president of one of earths big nations, we'd still not be responsible for the whole.
As Resurrection Sunday approaches, I think of Christ and how He took upon Himself the weight of the world's sins when He took our place to fulfill our insurmountable debt to God. He did not crumble under the weight as we would have.
Theme of the week: Garden. This time I decided to
go with a simplistic doodle style. Growing up I would often doodle
flowers on my class notes. I guess its a very girlie thing to do. In
a way, its something anybody can draw.
So, the theme to illustrate this week is change. You might say I took the easy way out by choosing to illustrate it as a noun rather than a verb.
Multiples of 1 and 2.
When I think of multiples I think of numbers and repetitive patterns, so here we have both.

So what better way than to illustrate the concept "choose" than by showing how ridiculous we women can be? Two identical choices save for the color can represent quite a conundrum, while gentlemen will never comprehend just how it could possibly take so long do put something, anything, on.
So, the theme given this time is Hidden Message. This was one of the first things that came to mind. Two people, strangers about their own business, or maybe a closely acquainted pair discreetly sharing a hidden communication?
Rupuntzel, Rupuntzel,let down your golden hair!
I wonder what Rupuntzel did all that while waiting for her hair to grow before she could meet her destiny?

I wasn't satisfied with Rupuntzel. She seems to be lost in the landscape, except for the hair. Instead, I've tried to do the theme a second time and did an Illustrator illustration of Li'l Red
