Here's some recent works. I'm determined to get back to posting and illustrating. Here's some of the stuff from the last 9 months.
Ever wonder what to do with those pictures that are nice but just don’t stand up to scrutiny when zoomed in? They make great wallpaper for your phone. Here are two examples of images that don’t cut it for stock for one imperfection or another, but they look great on my phone. Feel free to copy and download these for your own use. All I ask is that you not alter them. Enjoy!
Heavy. It makes me think of lifting, holding, pushing, pulling and all the while not getting very far. Although this may appear to be my version of Atlas, what I really had in mind was the weight of responsibility, the heavy load of the weight of the world on your shoulders. We can be glad to never have to experience such pressure, even if we were to become the president of one of earths big nations, we'd still not be responsible for the whole.
As Resurrection Sunday approaches, I think of Christ and how He took upon Himself the weight of the world's sins when He took our place to fulfill our insurmountable debt to God. He did not crumble under the weight as we would have.
When I think of multiples I think of numbers and repetitive patterns, so here we have both.
So what better way than to illustrate the concept "choose" than by showing how ridiculous we women can be? Two identical choices save for the color can represent quite a conundrum, while gentlemen will never comprehend just how it could possibly take so long do put something, anything, on.
